Which strains of Haemophilus do you test for?

We don't test for specific strains of Haemophilus, only the whole 'immediate family'.

Our Gut Health Tests detect all Haemophilus species but they don't discriminate between them.

In respiratory tract infections some Haemophilus species can be very problematic, but in the gut the presence of Haemophilus is a good indicator of dysbiosis.

When other species in the same extended family as Haemophilus make up a bigger proportion of your microbiome, we interpret this as a sign that you're short on beneficial bacteria.
