I'd like to test regularly over time so I can watch my progress, how often should I take a test?

While it's not essential to retest, there are situations where it can be a good investment.

We always recommend looking at your symptoms before considering another test, but there are a few situations in which a retest can be a good investment.
  1. You’re feeling good
Your symptoms have diminished and you’re feeling better than you have in a long time. Re-testing can show you just how much your efforts have paid off on a biochemical level. It can also indicate if you can reduce your supplements or relax some of your dietary restrictions.

  2. Your symptoms haven’t improved as much as you’d like
You still have one or two niggling issues and they’re frustrating you. Re-testing can give you an updated snapshot of your insides, and show you if anything else has cropped up. Each Healthpath test comes with an updated health plan.

  3. You tested positive for SIBO, worms or a parasite
If you tested positive for any of these three things, it’s important that you re-test as you’ll want to know they have gone. Wait for the end of your protocol and then get in touch to arrange a re-test.

We’re huge proponents of high-quality tests, but we’re the first to admit that they’re just one part of your health journey. The real value of testing lies in what you do with the results.

That’s why each Healthpath test comes with a personalised health plan as standard. Rest assured, our practitioners will also re-examine your old symptoms and results and compare the two.
