How does Healthpath's method of testing compare to metatranscriptomic analysis (used by Viome)?

Viome's method of testing is different to ours, but it's hard to say which one is better.

Viome uses different technology that measures the bacterial transcriptional activity for the different functions bacteria have for your health, in addition to identifying the bacteria.

The functional groups in the methods Healthpath uses give similar information, by grouping and quantifying bacteria that are responsible for special functions in your body.

It's a different approach to the same task. It's impossible to say which way has better diagnostic value.
