Can I do the Gut Health Test the day after the small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) test?

If you have already taken your SIBO test, you need to wait at least a week from taking the SIBO test before taking the samples for your Gut Health Test.

You would need to wait at least a week after taking the SIBO test before doing the Gut Health Test. This is because the restricted diet you need to follow the day before the SIBO test could affect the Gut Health Test results.

You should follow your normal diet for a week before taking a Gut Health Test.

If you haven't yet taken your SIBO test and would like to receive the results for both the SIBO and Gut Health tests together, we would recommend taking the samples for the Gut Health Test first, and then following the SIBO preparation diet.

You can either start the SIBO prep diet the same day you collected the samples for your Gut Test, or the next day depending on the time you collected these samples.
