When will I get the results of my test?

Test results usually take up to 15 working days to arrive.

Once the lab has received your sample, it usually takes up to 15 working days to receive your results.

This can vary, but if you haven't received them in 15 working days, please get in touch.

What happens after I send my samples?

For Gut Health and SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) Tests, after you post your sample using our freepost to the laboratory in London, it is transported on the same day by special air freight to our partner lab in Germany, where we carry out the analysis.

It is an efficient postal service, taking up to 72 hours to arrive. Don’t worry, stool samples are fine to be tested for up to one week, SIBO breath samples for well over 2 weeks. Our packaging is compliant with appropriate regulations to ensure samples are stable during transportation.

For Leaky Gut, Adrenal and Food Intolerance tests, samples are analysed by our partner laboratories in the UK. These usually take less time to analyse than Gut Health Tests, so if you have several tests, we recommend sending your Gut Health Test samples first.

Ordered more than one test?

If so, we will wait for all of your test results, so we can give you the most appropriate and comprehensive health plan at once.

Get your results quickly: what you need to do

There are 2 surveys to complete. It’s important you have completed both, less than 2 months before your plan is created, to ensure we can create a safe and effective health plan for you.

Login to Healthpath, and go to ‘surveys’. If either survey is incomplete, it will display on the screen.

If it has been more than 2 months since you originally completed these surveys when your test results are returned, please update your surveys to let our practitioner know if anything has changed.

You can also access each survey by logging in and following these links:

Why your surveys are important

Healthpath believes that test results are one important part of a complex puzzle. Your real symptoms and health history are equally important, so our practitioners also analyse your symptoms to create our health plans.

What happens when my results arrive back from the laboratory?

Once results have arrived back from the laboratory, your practitioner will then assess these alongside your completed surveys, normally releasing your protocol between 3 to 5 working days after it arrives with us.

Contact us if you haven't received your report after 15 working days
