When should I stop taking digestive enzymes and probiotics?

There are different instructions on when to stop taking digestive enzymes and probiotics depending on which test you're taking.

For any of our Gut Health Tests, you should stop taking probiotics three days before taking the test. Digestive enzymes are unlikely to affect the results.

For our SIBO test, if you’re currently taking antibiotics or herbal antimicrobials, wait 4 weeks after finishing the course of treatment before taking the test.

We recommend avoiding taking probiotics for 48 hours before taking the test. Digestive enzymes are unlikely to affect the results.
