What parasites do you look for in the stool test?

Our Gut Health Tests look for a variety of parasites, bacterias and yeasts.

We have three Gut Health Tests: Essential, Advanced and Ultimate. Each one offers a different depth of analysis.

All tests look for potentially pathogenic bacteria such as e-coli and enterobacter species and for an extensive range of yeast markers.

One of the primary differences between the Advanced and the Essential Gut Health Tests is thecomprehensive parasite testing that the Advanced offers, looking for Blastocystis hominis and Dientamoeba fragilis, amongst others. Read about the differences between our Gut Health tests.

If you think you could have been exposed to parasites (through travel or contaminated food) then the Advanced or Ultimate—and the comprehensive analysis they offer—is more suitable than the Essential.
